LEADERSHIP COACHING

Are you in a leadership position and looking for some one-on-one support to grow your capability?
Do you have members of your leadership team that need some extra support to develop their leadership skills?

Our Leadership Coaching is designed to support leaders in their leadership journey, and we work with people to address the specific issues or challenges that are important to them. Our coaching sessions run for 60 minutes and we ask that people commit to a minimum of 5 sessions over a 12 week period.

What can you expect from Real Team Leadership Coaching?

Coaching means different things to different people. So, whether you’re new to coaching— or you have experienced coaching with other providers, it’s important that you know what to expect from coaching with Real Team.

Our style of Leadership Coaching is a mix between personal development and leadership training. So, while we might share some insights, frameworks and advice to help you in your leadership journey, our primary focus is supporting you to have those insights for yourself. That means we ask lots of questions and encourage you to honestly reflect on the challenge or situation you’re facing.

Coaching is not always comfortable. In fact, it’s usually in the moments of discomfort that you have the most opportunity to learn and grow. Your coaching sessions are about you— not the people around you, so be prepared to look in the mirror at every session.

AS YOUR COACH, I COMMIT TO:

100% Confidentiality
Everything we talk about will remain completely confidential between us. I’ll be a sounding board for you to talk through ideas or challenges that could involve sensitive issues.

Asking Powerful Questions
A part of my role is to help you discover why you think and act the way you do, so that you can start to question the impact your thoughts and actions have on the people and situations around you. I’ll question your thinking, so that you become more aware of yourself and the choices you make.

Being Compassionately Honest
I will always be honest with you, which means I might share insights or ask questions that no one else has dared to do. This won’t always be comfortable, but my intention is to help you grow. The more self-aware you are, the better leader you will become.

Holding You Accountable
Because of your level of seniority or authority, you may not often be held to account for your behaviour—or for following through on agreed actions. To support you in achieving success, I will hold you accountable for everything you agree to do in our sessions.

AS THE COACHEE, I ASK YOU TO:

Be Open and Coachable
Some of the most important things you need to learn could require changes in your behaviour and mindset. Being open to feedback is essential for creating change in yourself and the results you’re creating at work.

Be Completely Honest
For you to get the most value from coaching, you need to be honest with yourself and with me. This will include sharing your emotions about situations we discuss. Emotions provide vital clues as to what might need to change and why.

Act with Integrity
Say what you’re going to do and then follow through with no excuses. Only a small portion of your growth will happen inside the coaching sessions. The real growth happens when you put new insights into practice.

Step into Your Stretch Zone
This journey will require some honest reflection, and this will almost-always mean acting with some level of discomfort. This discomfort is essential, as it’s the place where the most growth happens.

Be Responsible for Your Location
If we are meeting via Zoom, please make sure you are somewhere private and uninterruptable. It’s hard for you to be completely open when you’re surrounded by others.
